its almost a week since i last blogged. nothing much happened actually this past week, well, nothing blog-worthy. as you may have known, im in between jobs right now, so my days are usually spent at home, eating, in front of the tv or laptop, or anything just as long as it can be done without moving out of the sofa, in short very boring. aren't m days very productive?
i have watched 7 movies during this time. from french romantic movies, to spanish horror movies.
and also, during this time, i have been reading blogs. blogsurfing tlga ako. and this one particular blog, grabe, im super inggit with its writer. he doesnt only write well, but he also amassed this insane number of bags, shoes and anything luxurious. parang suddenly, i found my inspiration.
parang bigla akong nainspire na maghanap ng trabaho para makabili na at makapagshopping na.
u see, my savings back in the PI is almost gone, kalas. kaya i have to start working soon or else, balik hingi na naman ako sa magulang ko. back to that blog, grabe tlga, ang gaganda ng bags as in. omgg, i was drooling. kung hindi lang tlga ako naka credit ban, masaswipe ko tlga ang aking credit card sa LV or sa Gucci. kelangan maging kuripot until i have a job. limited na ang financial resources ko. but no, hindi ako naghihirap. Naka credit ban ako, mahirap na, mataas ang exchange rate. gusto ko na tlga magshopping. iniiwas iwasan ko na nga ang mall para hindi na ako matempt, but no, parang tinatawag tawag na ako mall.
Nung nasa pinas ako, wala akong tigil kaka shopping. Tipong nagagalit na ang jowa ko or nasisita na ako ng mga friends ko for my kalustayan. you see, back in the PI, most of us have jobs. We have are own pinagkakagastusan. I have this friend who collects cameras. Parang she has almost 10 Lomos, 2 digicams and 1 dslr. she super likes photography. One friend naman, techy naman. Ipod toch, laptop, and some more gadgets. Ung isa naman, hmmmm, parang recently wala shang nabili, a ayun, she enrolled herself a year or so ago sa last sem nya sa school. And as for me, shopping lang ng shopping. In the past 2 years as a banker, madami akong nabili for myself. Shoes, bags, damit, pero something with value, wala yata. (wel, except lang dun sa mga designer stuff) I mean, walang isang bagay na makikita mong may REAL value. siguro, sa aming barkada, ako ang pinakawaldas. as in mega shopping. hanggang sa muntik ng maubos ang savings ko, kaya i decided to come here and be with my family para macontrol ko na din ang sarili ko. As of today, i havent bought anything....YET. My birthday is less than 10 days from now, so sana ang birthday wish ko ay mabigay ni mama. shopping ban is ending soon. im sooo excited.
well anyhow, enough of that blog. dun naman tau sa mga nangyari sakin this past week.
i went out thursday night. at long last, nahanginan na rin ako. i missed fresh air. so much of the chilly a/c. a relative called and invited us for dinner. we were supposed to have dinner at Le Meridien. They have this restau which serves, IMO, the best baby back ribs here. But unfortunately, the restau is currently under renovation. So sa Friday's nalang kame.
Isip isip ko, sayang naman my outfit hehehe. I ordered, you guessed it, baby back ribs. I was quite hesitant because i have tried the ribs in Manila, and i didnt quite like it. But to my pleasant surprise, it was actually good. Real big serving, around a foot and a half long and really tender. I give it 4 spoons out of 5. (if not for the antipatica pinay server, i wouldve given it 5 spoons). After dinner, dad dropped me off somewhere, to meet my new friends. oh yes, i have friends here. We were supposed to go out clubbing, but parents did not allow me. wala pa daw kasi akong labor card, baka matyambahan ako ng pulis. so i went home 1am na.
friday, woke up at 4pm. Had coffee with friends at around 8ish. Arabic dinner with mom and sib at around 11.
Saturday na tomorrow, sana may mangyari naman.
